This film looks at the role played by the nature guides in conservation. As a first contact between the tourists and the natural world, they are pivotal in setting the tone, introducing the ethics and rules of the jungle, unveiling the mysteries of the natural world and being the eyes and ears of the enforcement agencies. They also fulfil an important role in initiating community driven conservation and environment education. This film was made in collaboration with Nature Science Initiative, a Dehra Dun based NGO, working on environment education for school children in Uttarakhand, India.
