The Lesser Florican is a highly endangered endemic species belonging to the Bustard family which migrates from peninsular India to breed in the grasslands of central and western India during the monsoon season. The species is under enormous anthropogenic pressures. This film looks at the various factors affecting its survival and the solutions for its long term conservation. These films were part of the 'Lesser Florican Conservation Programme' undertaken by The Ark Foundation and supported by Conservation Leadership Programme.
